These Terms of Service govern your use of the Sugar Times website and the purchase of products from us. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Sugar Times is a UK-based bakery producing freshly baked goods made to order.

2. Orders

All products are made to order.

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • All information provided is accurate
  • You are authorised to use the payment method
  • You have reviewed your order details before confirming

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if:

  • The product is unavailable
  • There is a pricing error
  • We suspect fraudulent activity

If we cancel an order, a full refund will be issued.


 

 

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in GBP (£).

Deposit or full payment is required at the time of ordering unless otherwise agreed.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Price changes will not affect confirmed orders.

 

4. Collection & Delivery

Customers must collect orders at the agreed time or ensure someone is available for delivery.

Once the product has been collected or delivered, responsibility transfers to the customer.

Sugar Times is not responsible for damage caused after collection, including improper storage or handling.

 

5. Cancellations

Because our products are perishable and made to order:

  • Orders cancelled 7+ days before collection may receive a refund (excluding deposits).
  • Orders cancelled 3–6 days before collection may receive a partial refund.
  • Orders cancelled less than 72 hours before collection are non-refundable.

Custom and personalised orders may not be cancelled once preparation has begun.

 

6. Returns & Refunds

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns.

If there is an issue with your order, you must contact us within 2 hours of collection or delivery with photographic evidence.

Refunds or replacements are offered at our discretion.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

 

7. Allergies & Dietary Information

While we offer lactose-free and other alternative options, our kitchen handles:

  • Dairy
  • Gluten
  • Eggs
  • Nuts
  • Soy
  • Other allergens

We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

It is the customer’s responsibility to inform us of allergies at the time of ordering.


 

 

8. Product Appearance

 

All products are handmade. Colours, decorations, and finishes may vary slightly from images shown on the website.

Where personalised designs are requested, minor artistic variations may occur.


 

 

9. Limitation of Liability

 

Sugar Times shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses
  • Loss resulting from incorrect information provided by the customer
  • Damage after collection or delivery
  • Failure to follow storage instructions

Our liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product.

 

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under UK law.


 

 

10. Intellectual Property

All website content, images, designs, and branding remain the property of Sugar Times.

 

You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any content without written permission.


 

 

11. Website Use

You agree not to misuse the website or attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems.
